This design speaks of 2 worlds, 2 people coming together bound by te tiriti o Waitangi, it acknowledges   the past , the blood shed between these worlds and the fact that whether you like it or not we are bound by te tiriti . 

"This is my koha to the kaupapa and this tohu has been with my whānau for over a decade it is adorned  in my skin and I only ask that it be respected and not used in anyway to profit from individually".
